Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992), was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role in the film as actress Savitri. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy has the father of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child actor at the beginning of 2000 and went back to film after studying fashion design. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work in projects that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to appear in numerous Tamil films at the same time. In the year 2015, she debuted A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. The films were not a success at the theaters. It was necessary to withdraw of a number of films she was already making in 2015 such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for bigger projects. As a result, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. But, the movie has been being delayed from 2015 with speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a name change to Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy first appeared in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan. In 2017, she was in Tamil films Paambhu sattai and Telugu movies Nenu Local.
