Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer that was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. The parents of her are gospel superstars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard), and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick is also a singer. Her mother and she began singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist in Newark when Whitney was only 15 years old. They sang the backing vocals in Chaka Khan's track in 1978 Im Every Woman. Her mother, Jermaine, and Lou Rawls were some of those who she sang with. Also, she was a model for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. Her vocals with the New York-based band Material brought attention to major record labels such as Arista. The label signed her to Arista in 1983, where she continued to work for the rest of her career. The year 1985 saw Whitney Houston's debut album turned out to be the best-selling debut album of all time. Songs like The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Do I Know if You Give Good Love, and Save All My Love were all released from the album. They allowed Houston to reach 7 US top tens that surpassed even those of the Beatles. The album's debut US year the album sold over 3 million units. Then it went on to be listened to by more than 25 million people worldwide which earned her her first Grammy. The Whitney album followed in 1987 and the singles Where Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her first album. It was, however the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most popular artist. While the film wasn't very well received, nor was her performance, the soundtrack to the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the top spot on both the albums and singles charts in the United States for months. She sold 44,000,000 copies. Also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist and father of her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. In 1996, her drug usage was well documented.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she works for CNN as both a reporter, anchorwoman and political correspondent. Her previous work included NBC, CBS and other prestigious channels. Her productions include certain shows on CNN's weekends including Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. The awards and honors she has received include inclusion in the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Many young journalists admire her reporting and anchoring skills. Her only child is her greatest joy in life. She's married twice. The moment she is unmarried. Bash is a strong, independent and strong woman. She loves her fans.
